- Paul Davis Restoration of North Dallas
Part of a national disaster restoration franchise, cleaning up after fire, water, mould and storm. Their soft contents service names toys and stuffed animals explicitly as things they save from being thrown out. You reach them in the hours after something bad has happened, usually through an insurer.

- FRSTeam New York
Fabric and textile restoration after fire or water damage, working through your insurer. Stuffed animals and taxidermy are both on their list. The detail that matters: within 24 to 48 hours of the first visit they return a rush order of essentials, and they name a beloved stuffed animal as one of the things a family needs back that fast.

- BrightSide Restoration
A disaster restoration company covering Southern California, working insurance claims after fire, smoke, water and mould. Stuffed animals are on their list of textiles restored, alongside wedding gowns and rugs. This is not a repair shop: they arrive after a house fire, pack everything out, and return what can be saved.

If it cannot wait “emergency items to reduce additional living expense”
- Shamrock Cleaners
A Tallahassee dry cleaner of twenty-five years with a fire and flood restoration arm, fur and leather work, and complimentary pickup and delivery. Their advice on hurricane damage is the most useful thing they publish: photograph everything before you clean or throw anything away, because documentation decides what an insurer will pay for and what a restorer can save.

- CRDN
A national contents restoration franchise that works as part of the emergency response after a fire, flood or storm. If it cannot wait “declared emergency on a claim”

- Prism Specialties
A national specialty restoration franchise covering electronics, art, documents and textiles for insurance claims. They argue in their own words that a favourite stuffed animal can mean more to somebody than its monetary worth, and price by process and labour rather than per piece, which they say keeps the claim cheaper.
- Stober Textile Restoration
A commercial laundry and restoration plant built around insurance work. They publish a 92 percent average restore rate over a million items processed, and they say plainly that they recover soft goods other cleaners write off. Every item is photographed, barcoded and graded restorable or not, priced against replacement cost.
- Textile Restorations, trading as ReNew
An award-winning restoration plant for clothing and household fabrics damaged by fire, smoke, water or mould, working through insurers. Named American Drycleaner Magazine plant of the year in 1991 and rated the number one fabric restoration vendor by Contractor Connection in 2010 and 2014.
How this list was built
Every entry was read off the business's own public pages. 0 of the 11 look untouched for years: a copyright several years old, a shop promising to reopen on a date that has passed, a page booked through a year that is over. We do not name which, because we have not asked any of them and being publicly guessed at is not something you should take from a stranger.
That rate depends on how you look. Businesses found by search alone are flagged at 38%; those found through trade lists and associations, 18%. Search rewards an old site with old links, so a list built only from search carries twice as many ghosts as one built from the trade itself.
